Working with Children

Working with children is our joy and motivation to continuously educate and improve ourselves.

We focus on preventive care because we believe that good prevention and teaching children to take care of their own oral hygiene is essential for oral health.

We also strive to establish a good relationship with the child, as trust, kindness, and a positive attitude between the dentist and the child are very important during treatment.

This way, a visit to the dentist can be a pleasant experience for the child.

Prevention

We prioritize preventive work because we believe that good preventive measures and teaching children to take care of their oral hygiene themselves are vital for oral health.

In addition to individual demonstrations of cleaning and lessons about hygiene and nutrition, we perform regular check-ups for children to detect early changes.

Fissure sealing is a preventive procedure where pits and fissures on the chewing surfaces of teeth are sealed with a special material. This reduces the risk of cavities forming due to food getting stuck in deep fissures and pits that are harder for the child to clean.

Fluoride varnishing strengthens the tooth enamel by incorporating fluoride into it, making the tooth more resistant to drops in pH in the mouth, thus reducing the risk of developing cavities.

Treatments

If cavities develop despite preventive care, fillings are necessary, and sometimes teeth need to be treated or extracted.

We strive to work without pain or fear, proceeding gradually according to the child’s readiness.

We work step by step, respecting the child’s ability to cooperate, as this allows us to perform the treatment properly.
