Prosthetics on implants

Fixed and removable prosthetics are possible on implants. Fixed prosthetics are possible as a dental crown on an implant or a bridge on two implants.

Fixed prosthetics

When you lose one or more teeth or you miss a large part of them and aesthetics and function of the teeth are compromised, as well as chewing and eating.

Fixed prosthetic solutions are in the form of inlays, onlays, crowns and bridges. Inlay and onlay are possible solutions when we are already missing a large mass of the tooth, but we still have so much remaining tooth and we do not need a crown on it.

Depending on the situation of the tooth, we decide what would be the most optimal solution – either inlay or onlay, instead of the usual composite filling.

We choose crowns when there is too much tooth mass missing, so that the tooth can`t be filled with fillings, inlays or onlays.

The bridge is needed when replacing one or more missing teeth, including the teeth next to the missing tooth in the construction.

Construction materials can be quite different – from metal acrylic restorations to newer materials such as metal-ceramic and all-ceramic constructions.

Removable prosthetics

When you lose one or more teeth or you miss a large part of the tooth, the aesthetics and function of the teeth are compromised, as well as chewing and eating. When we still have a few teeth in our mouth, but the conditions for fixed-prosthetic constructions are not suitable, we opt for a partial removable denture.

The denture thus replaces the missing teeth and soft tissues, and anchors itself to the remaining teeth in the mouth.

When we no longer have teeth in our mouth, we need a complete denture.

The complete denture replaces the missing teeth and soft tissues, but the retention of the complete denture is worse than with a partial denture because the tooth to which the denture would be anchored is no longer there.
